Now guys this is the case. The number of reported rape cases in the world each day is risng and the fact that they can get away with it using this drug makes it even more appalling. Rape is a violation that does not only injure physically but leaves a virtual wound that will never heal in the victim's soul and a trauma that will linger forever. Reported Rape Cases Rise As Convictions Fall
The number of rapes against women has increased by 400% while convictions fall to record lows, as women victims continue to be confronted by sceptism and a culture of "she was begging for it mentality" from the CPS. According to figures released by the Home Office rape attacks are increasing rapidly in England and Wales, but the number of while prosecutions secured has hit an all time low.

The government figures published yesterday,show that one in eighteen rapes reported to police ends with the suspect being punished, this against a government pledge to increase the number of convictions.
Another worrying statistic is the emergence of an alarming new rape trend, linked to the UK's binge-drinking culture in towns and cities across England and Wales, the study has highlighted that, groups of predatory men are now targeting drunken women to rape and sexually assault.

The link between excessive binge drinking and rape is now a much more bigger menace than sexual attacks involving the date rape drug Rohypnol. In a period when the Government faces a general election and crime is high on the agenda it finds itself on the defensive over the increase in violent crime and drunken behaviour on the streets.

The Home Office report, disclosed the latest rape figures and that some men are now trawling bars looking for drunk women to rape. It also said that the actual number of rapes in England and Wales is more than four times higher than the 11,700 reported to the police in 2002.
